About
Discover Beasts of a Little Land through a live bilingual performance, reimagining its characters and vivid tiger imagery on stage.
Join author Juhea Kim and actor Hee-jin Choi as they present passages from Beasts of a Little Land in Korean and English.
Blending reading with performance, Choi and Kim bring selected passages from the novel to life through a theatrical reading. The performances also feature the novel's vivid description of a Korean tiger, creating connections with the tiger and magpie painting on display in the Korea exhibition.
More than a traditional book reading, this special event brings together literature, performance and historical objects.
Two performances will take place at 14.00 and 15.30, each followed by a short book signing with the author. You can add a copy of Beasts of a Little Land when booking your ticket and collect it after the performance by showing your confirmation email. If you already own a copy, feel free to bring it along.
