A free family day celebrating Manchester's medieval history, with a Medieval Quarter walking tour, birds of prey, specialist food and craft stalls, music from Manchester Troubadours, and live demonstrations by Historia Normannis. Try the scriptorium, while younger visitors can decorate a sword and shield. Optional library tours cost Ā£8.50 and require booking.
